Thiago Motta is confident that Juventus players will rally around Bremer following his serious injury. The Brazilian defender, who had been a key player for Juventus this season, suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury during their 3-2 Champions League victory over RB Leipzig. This injury could potentially end his season. Bremer's absence is expected to be felt in their upcoming match against Cagliari.
Bremer has been instrumental in Juventus' defensive success, contributing to six clean sheets in the league. He played every minute of the season until his injury, leading the team with 540 minutes on the pitch. His defensive stats include six interceptions and 11 blocks, making him a crucial part of the squad.

Motta expressed his disappointment over Bremer's injury, stating, "Gleison [Bremer] is an important player for us. I'm very sorry for the boy, because already, humanly speaking, he is fantastic, technically I don't need to say it, we all know it." Motta believes that the team will step up in Bremer's absence.
In addition to Bremer's absence, Juventus will also be without several other key players. Forward Timothy Weah, winger Nicolas Gonzalez, midfielder Vasilije Adzic, and long-term absentee Arkadius Milik are unavailable for selection. Despite these challenges, Motta remains optimistic about the performance of those stepping into these roles.
"Whoever comes in, I am convinced they will give something more," Motta stated. He emphasized the importance of teamwork and delivering a strong performance to achieve positive results. The manager is looking forward to playing at home in front of their fans and creating a vibrant football atmosphere.
Juventus showcased resilience in Europe by overcoming early setbacks against RB Leipzig. Despite injuries to Bremer and Gonzalez and goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio being sent off, they managed to secure a win. Motta wants his team to harness this enthusiasm while staying grounded.
"The enthusiasm, used well, is always good," Motta said. "We use it to work... This is the great advantage of being able to work with enthusiasm." He stressed the importance of maintaining focus and using their strengths effectively without losing sight of reality.
French midfielder Paul Pogba recently had his doping suspension reduced from four years to 18 months. This decision allows him to return in March. However, Motta remains focused on immediate priorities rather than Pogba's situation.
"On Paul Pogba, the club will evaluate what to do," Motta commented. "As for me... Now I'm focused on tomorrow's game and everything else doesn't matter much to me at this moment."
Juventus faces significant challenges with key players out due to injuries or suspensions. Yet Motta believes that collective effort and enthusiasm can drive them forward as they prepare for upcoming matches with determination and focus on achieving positive outcomes.
