The Kaling Super Cup 2024 had an enthralling show and a fitting finale to cap things off as Kolkata giants East Bengal ended their age-old trophyless run with a title.
East Bengal beat Odisha FC 3-2 in the Final at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and thus have given themselves a major boost for the season.

Diego Mauricio opened the scoring for Odisha, but Nandha Kumar scored against his old team to restore parity for East Bengal. The Torch Bearers had their nose in front when Saul Crespo scored from the spot, but the Juggernauts roared back in the last minute as Ahmed Jahouh converted a spot kick. The match went to Extra Time and it was Cleiton Silva's 111th minute winner which sealed the deal for the Kolkata giants.
There were some outstanding performances throughout the tournament and top players across the clubs were awarded for their excellent display on the field. Apart from that, there was also a lucrative prize money for the winning team and the runners-up team.

**All the winners won a plaque and a Rs 2,50,000 cheque.
East Bengal, the winners were handed a Rs 25 lakh cheque, while the runners-up team Odisha FC team received a Rs 15 lakh cheque.
