Kalinga Super Cup 2025: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has officially revealed the schedule for the 2025 edition of the Kalinga Super Cup, set to be held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from April 20 to May 3.

All fixtures will be played at the iconic Kalinga Stadium in a straight knockout format.

A total of 16 clubs-13 from the Indian Super League (ISL) and 3 from the I-League-will compete for the title. This year's format continues with the single-elimination system, starting with the Round of 16. Based on their final standings in the 2024-25 ISL season, teams have been seeded accordingly.

The three I-League representatives-Churchill Brothers FC Goa, Inter Kashi, and Gokulam Kerala FC-will go up against the top-seeded ISL sides: Mohun Bagan Super Giant, FC Goa, and Bengaluru FC. These matchups will be finalized through a draw on Wednesday, April 9.

The Round of 16 ties are scheduled for April 20, 21, 23, and 24, followed by the quarter-finals on April 26 and 27. The semi-finals will take place on April 30, with the grand finale set for May 3. In case of a draw at the end of regulation time in any knockout round except the final, matches will go directly to penalties. The final will include extra time if needed, followed by penalties if the deadlock remains.

The champion of the 2025 Kalinga Super Cup will earn a berth in the AFC Champions League Two Preliminary Round for the 2025-26 season. East Bengal FC, last year's winners after defeating Odisha FC in the 2024 final, will enter the tournament looking to defend their crown. Other previous winners include Odisha FC (2023), FC Goa (2019), and Bengaluru FC (2018).
