FC Goa secured their second Kalinga Super Cup title after a dominant 3-0 victory over Jamshedpur FC at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Saturday, May 3, 2025. The win, marked by a brace from Borja Herrera and a late goal from Dejan Dražić, also booked them a place in the 2025-26 AFC Champions League Two - their first continental appearance in four years.
The final, played under rainy conditions, saw FC Goa take control early on and maintain their superiority throughout. Jamshedpur FC, who had reached the final without conceding a goal, struggled to contain Goa's attacking play. Despite a bright start and an early chance for Javier Hernández, they were unable to sustain pressure.

Goa opened the scoring in the 23rd minute after Albino Gomes parried Aakash Sangwan's effort into Borja's path. The midfielder followed up his initial blocked shot to fire into the roof of the net. Jamshedpur came close to equalising late in the first half when Lazar Ćirković's header struck the crossbar.
Borja doubled the lead with a long-range strike in the 51st minute before Dražić added a third in the 71st minute after a precise through ball from Carl McHugh. Goa's control of possession and territory proved decisive, as they comfortably saw out the remainder of the match.
This title marked the first piece of silverware for FC Goa under head coach Manolo Márquez, bringing a fitting end to his tenure with the club.
