The 2025 Kalinga Super Cup, which is being played in an inter-league knockout football tournament, is underway at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Running from April 20 to May 3, the competition features 15 teams - 13 from the Indian Super League (ISL) and 2 from the I-League - vying for the prestigious title and a spot in the AFC Champions League 2 Preliminary Round.

Departing from previous group-stage formats, the 2025 edition adopts a straight knockout structure. Each match is a do-or-die encounter, with the winner advancing and the loser exiting the tournament. In the event of a draw during regulation time, matches proceed directly to penalties, except for the final, which includes extra time before penalties if necessary.
Note: Churchill Brothers FC Goa withdrew from the tournament, granting Mohun Bagan a direct entry into the quarter-finals.
