Kalinga Super Cup: Bengaluru FC Unveil Squad For 2025 Edition

Bengaluru FC have officially unveiled its 28-member squad for the upcoming 2025 Kalinga Super Cup campaign. The roster features a dynamic mix of seasoned campaigners and emerging talents, as the club sets its sights on lifting the prestigious trophy once again.

The Blues, who last claimed the Super Cup title in 2018, are eager to wrap up the 2025 season on a high note.

Bengaluru FC will kick off their Super Cup run with a high-stakes fixture against Inter Kashi-a team that earned qualification after finishing runners-up in the I-League. The match is scheduled for a 4:30 PM kickoff on Wednesday, April 23, at the Kalinga Stadium.

With a reshaped squad and a renewed sense of ambition, all eyes will be on the Blues as they aim to make a deep run in the competition. Fans and pundits alike will be watching closely to see how the balance between youth and experience plays out on the field.

ISL 2024-25 Performance

Bengaluru FC had a strong 2024-25 ISL campaign, finishing third in the league with 38 points. Despite a mid-season dip, they bounced back with key wins and stormed into the final after a record 5-0 knockout victory over Mumbai City FC and a 2-0 win over FC Goa in the semis. In the final, they narrowly lost 2-1 to Mohun Bagan SG in extra time. Sunil Chhetri was a standout performer with 14 goals, while Gurpreet Singh Sandhu kept eight clean sheets. Under coach Gerard Zaragoza, Bengaluru showed great fight and promise throughout the season.
