Bengaluru, July 27: Spanish giants Real Madrid might be in a big battle to sign Monaco's Kylian Mbappe but not the cost of their current stars.
According to reports in Spain, Mbappe's compatriot and fellow striker Karim Benzema is set to sign a new five-year deal at the Bernabeu, reports The Mail in UK.

Reports claime the 29-year-old has ruled out leaving - even if Mbappe does join - and is considered a vital part of manager Zinedine Zidane's system.
Benzema has developed into the spearhead of Los Blancos' formidable 'BBC' strike partnership alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale. And the Madrid-based paper claimed Zidane values his fellow Frenchman's goals and gameplay.
Mbappe, meanwhile, is one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe after leading Monaco to the French title and the semifinals of the Champions League.
He has already seen the likes of Tiemoue Bakoyoko and Bernardo Silva leave Stade Louis II as Leonardo Jardim struggles to keep hold of the stars that propelled his side to the top table of European football.
