Kerala Blasters are currently sitting at the top of the Indian Super League table. With 8 wins, 2 draws, and only 2 defeats in the 12 games they have played, they are leading the table with 26 points.
They haven't had the best run at the Kalinga Super Cup. They lost 2 against Jamshedpur FC and North East United and won only 1 match against Shillong Lajong in the group stage of the competition.

The Kerala team travelled to Bhubaneswar without Pritam Kotal, Ishan Pandita, and Rahul Kannoly Praveen who were in Qatar serving their international duties for the Indian national team in the AFC Asian Cup. All three players are now set to return to the squad.
Even though they are key players, Kerala already have a good squad depth. They were performing exceptionally well even without their aces no. 10 Adria Luna, forward Daisuke Sakai, and Jeakson Singh in their last few Indian Super League games.
Luna has been out with a knee injury since the middle of December. Whereas, Jeakson Singh has been out since near the end of October. Daisuke started all of Kerala's Super Cup matches, but he only came off the bench in their last 4 ISL games.
The Indian Super League is set to restart on January 31 and Kerala will play their first match against Odisha FC on the road on February 2. This will be a crucial game for both teams, especially considering Odisha are only 2 points behind Kerala sitting in 3rd place.
Even though Kerala are starting on a good note, they have played 2 more games than 2nd places Goa who are only 2 points behind them. These two teams are set to butt heads on February 25.
Another match that could turn out to be deciding for them is against Mohun Bagan at home. This match is set to be held on March 13. Considering Kerala's current form, they could go on winning the shield.
