On one hand, it looks like the new coach Mikael Stahre is taking the initiative to shape the team according to his vision for the upcoming season. However, the departure of five players at once has left fans concerned about the team's future, as no new signings have been announced yet.

This move could be considered as a sign that the team is preparing for a strong push in the next season. KBFC could be gearing up to revamp their squad and bring in fresh talent as the departures create an opportunity for new players to join the team and make their mark.

KBFC were greatly struggling with injuries last season, which ultimately affected their performance. They ended the first half the Indian Super League at the top of the table. Yet, their downfall in the second half because of the numerous injuries was painful to witness.

The release of these players could be a step towards addressing this issue. However, the departure of one players, Dimitrios Diamantakos is sure to haunt the fans for a while. His contributions to the team was invaluable. He was also the ISL 2023-24 season top goalscorer.

Even so, fans are eager to see the new talents that will join the team in the upcoming transfer window. KBFC have been linked to several players, including Noah Sadaoui from FC Goa and Lalrinliana Hnamte from Mohun Bagan. There have been no official announcement from the club but these signings could bring much-needed depth and quality to the team.
