Kerala Blasters return to Indian Super League to take the top spot after making a group-stage exit to Jamshedpur FC at the Kalinga Super Cup 2024 in Bhubaneswar. They are riding on the hot form of their Greek striker Dimitrios Diamantakos, who has scored seven goals and two assists in 10 games. His strike partner Kwame Peprah has adjusted to life in Kerala and was visible during his match-wining performances against Mumbai City FC and Mohun Bagan.

Apart from the strike duo, Rahul KP and Pritam Kotal will return to the club after serving the nation at the AFC Asian Cup 2023 while defensive midfielder Jeakson Singh is expected to return to action soon.

One of the main reasons behind their success has also been the growth of some of their youngsters, including twin brothers Mohammed Aimen and Mohammed Azhar while Vibin Mohanan has been a crucial member of that midfield too. The defense looks rock solid in the presence of their two foreign centre-backs, Milos Drincic and Marko Leskovic, while talented Hormipam Ruivah is the backup.
