Kerala Blasters rope in Salahudheen from Mohun Bagan ahead of ISL season

Kerala Blasters FC have officially signed Malayali winger Salahudheen Adnan from Mohun Bagan Super Giant, bolstering its lineup as preparations intensify for the forthcoming ISL season.

This move represents a heartfelt homecoming for Salahudheen, who previously featured in the Kerala Blasters setup. The dynamic winger arrived in Kochi to meet with his new teammates.

Renowned for his blistering pace, direct approach, relentless work ethic, and flair in wide positions, Salahudheen injects vitality and offensive threat into the flanks. His skill in beating defenders, driving forward with the ball, and generating opportunities in the attacking third provides the squad with a versatile new asset.

Kerala Blasters FC CEO Abhik Chatterjee commented on the addition: "We are happy to welcome Salahudheen back to Kerala Blasters. He is young, determined and eager to improve, and we believe he can grow with us and make a positive impact in the squad."

Mutual Departure of Assistant Coach T.G. Purushothaman

Kerala Blasters FC also announced the departure of Indian Assistant Coach T.G. Purushothaman , as they have reached a mutual agreement to part ways.

Purushothaman's tenure with the club started in 2021 as Head Coach of the Kerala Blasters Reserves. He progressed to Manager of the U18 team before ascending to the senior staff as Assistant Coach in July 2023 under a multi-year deal. In the 2024-25 season, he also stepped in as Interim Head Coach.
