Kerala Blasters FC have announced the signing of Moroccan midfielder Karim Benarif, who joins the club ahead of the upcoming season.
Benarif, a central midfielder known for his composure on the ball and tactical awareness, brings with him a wealth of experience across North Africa and the Middle East. Born in Rabat, Morocco, the 33-year-old has most recently been on the squad of Karbala'a FC in the Iraq Stars League.

Benarif primarily operates as a central midfielder but is also capable of playing in defensive and right midfield roles, offering versatility and balance in the middle of the park.
A product of FAR Rabat's youth system, Benarif has previously represented clubs such as FUS Rabat and Mouloudia Oujda, gaining experience in top-tier competitions including continental tournaments in Africa.
"Benarif has arrived in Kochi and will begin preparations with the team for the upcoming games," the club announced on Sunday.
Karim Benarif is a Moroccan professional footballer born on January 20, 1993, who plays as a central midfielder. Standing around 176-177 cm, he is right‑footed and known for his box‑to‑box role, contributing with goals and assists. He has featured prominently in Morocco's Botola Pro, notably with FUS Rabat, and has moved through clubs in Iraq and West Asia, including Karbalaa FC.
