Kerala Blasters are looking to boost their squad and they have targeted two key players. There have been several reports that day that KBFC are looking to bring in forward Noah Sadaoui from FC Goa and midfielder Lalrinliana Hnamte from Mohun Bagan.

Kerala ended the first half of their season at the top of the ISL 2023-24 table. However, as the second half of the season started in February, their luck ran out. They have lost four out of the five matches they played since then.

One of the main reasons behind their fall has been a plethora of injuries. Kerala have witnessed the most number of injuries this season. They lost several key players for the entire season including captain Adrian Luna and first-choice goalkeeper Sachin Suresh.

In this situation, Kerala Blasters are looking to boost their squad. They are targeting Noah Sadaoui from FC Goa who has scored 12 goals and provided 4 assists in 23 games for the Gaurs in all competitions. He was quite a headache for Kerala when they went up against Goa.

They are also actively looking to bring in Mohun Bagan midfielder Lalrinliana Hnamte. The 20-year-old has appeared in 15 games this season in all competitions. However, he only started in two games in those 15 games. Hence, he could be looking for a move where he gets more playing time.

Thanks to their stellar record in the first half, they have only dropped down to 5th position in the league table. They have no way of winning the shield this season. However, with five matches left to go, they can still secure their place in the play-offs.

In the 10-year history of the Indian Super League, Kerala Blasters have not been able to win the trophy. They had a good start this season, but fell through midway. With these new additions to the squad, they could pose a stronger challenge.
