Kevin de Bruyne has made a shocking announcement that he will be leaving Manchester City at the end of the season.
The 33-year-old announced the news with a social media post on Friday and will be ending his decade-long association with the Premier League giants.

"Seeing this, you probably realise where this is heading," De Bruyne said in his announcement.
"So I'll get straight to it and let you all know that these will be my final months as a Manchester City player. Nothing about this is easy to write, but as football players, we all know this day eventually comes. That day is here - and you deserve to hear it from me first," the post added.
Since joining from Wolfsburg in 2015, De Bruyne has played over 400 times for Manchester City, winning multiple Premier League titles and got continental success with the Champions League as well. The coveted midfielder has been a stalwart for the club and the league and the decision means the end of an era.
As De Bruyne leaves Man City at the end of the season, the obvious question that comes to mind - What will be his Next Destination?
De Bruyne is a coveted midfielder and will have plenty of suitors. The Belgium International is leaving Manchester City, but is expected to join a top club come next summer. He does have a lot of suitors already lurking around him and it is expected that the former Chelsea man will be choosing his next destination soon. But as per reports in European media, three clubs are currently ahead in the race for De Bruyne's signature.
San Diego FC (MLS): The newly established Major League Soccer team has shown interest in De Bruyne. San Diego's sporting director, Tyler Heaps, acknowledged discussions with De Bruyne's agent but noted that the player's wage demands might exceed the club's budget. The California-based club does have an edge in the race and someone like De Bruyne can change their fortunes.
Neom SC (Saudi Arabia): Currently leading the Saudi second division and poised for promotion, Neom SC has reportedly engaged in serious discussions with De Bruyne. With a massive financial backing, Neom are in the race.
Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia): Reigning Saudi champions Al Hilal are also firmly in the race for De Bruyne. With the Club World Cup coming up, the Belgian can be a statement signing for them. Although it is unknown if they have made any formal enquiry for the player, wage will not be an issue for the Saudi giants.
Fenerbahçe (Turkey): Under the management of Jose Mourinho, Fenerbahçe is exploring options to strengthen their squad and has been linked with De Bruyne as part of their transfer plans. It is said to be in primary stages but the Belgian may be playing in the Turkish league next season.
