The entire nation is in an uproar over the RG Kar Hospital incident. The outrage has transcended the medical community and has become a widespread public protest, with people from all walks of life joining in.
The cricketing world is no exception. A few days ago, Sourav Ganguly voiced his strong protest, and now following in his footsteps are Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj.

The tragic death of a young doctor at RG Kar Hospital has deeply shaken the entire country. Stars from the sports world have also joined in the protest. Jasprit Bumrah had already expressed his anger on social media, and now another star pacer of the Indian team, Mohammad Siraj, has joined the cause.
"It's not the path that needs changing, it's the environment," Bumrah emphasizes on the issue of women's safety following the RG Kar incident.
Mohammad Siraj took to his Instagram story to raise his voice against the RG Kar incident. He didn't limit his protest to just this incident but also highlighted the numerous cases of rape and violence against women across the country. Siraj's post mentioned several shameful incidents.
The post goes on to question those who often blame the victims, asking, "What's the excuse this time for pointing fingers at women in cases of rape?"
Referring to the RG Kar incident, the Indian team's star pacer asked, "What excuse will be given now? Is it still the girl's fault? Because, after all, men will be men, right?"
In addition to Siraj, KKR captain Shreyas Iyer also spoke out. The Knight Riders' leader wrote on his Instagram story, "Nothing has changed over the past few years! Since hearing about what happened, I've been literally devastated." He further added, "Justice for Women."
Jasprit Bumrah couldn't stay silent either about the horrific incident at RG Kar. He too stood by the women's struggle, stating on his social media, "Don't tell women to change their path, change the environment. Every woman deserves a safe environment."
"The RG Kar incident is unfortunate," Ganguly also spoke out on the issue of women's safety.
A few days ago, Sourav voiced his opinion on this issue, calling it a very unfortunate and highly condemnable incident. He added that there is no excuse for such crimes and that the administration must take strict action immediately. Such incidents can happen anywhere, but unfortunately, this occurred within a hospital. There should be CCTV arrangements, and security measures should be strengthened.
