Kolo Muani Ready To Make His Juventus Debut Against Napoli In Serie A Clash

Randal Kolo Muani is poised to debut for Juventus in their Serie A match against Napoli. Coach Thiago Motta highlights the team's recent changes and player fitness ahead of the crucial game.

Randal Kolo Muani, Juventus' recent acquisition, is poised to make his first appearance in the Serie A match against Napoli on Saturday. Head coach Thiago Motta disclosed this information on Friday. Juventus secured the French forward on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, marking their second addition in the January transfer window following right-back Alberto Costa.

Motta expressed optimism about Kolo Muani's potential impact, stating, "Randal is available and we'll see if he starts or not. It's important to have taken a player of his level because we think he can help the team win games." The team's reinforcements are timely, given that defenders Bremer and Juan Cabal are sidelined with anterior cruciate ligament injuries, and striker Arkadiusz Milik is also out long-term.

Kolo Muani to Debut for Juventus vs Napoli

The integration of new players into the squad has been progressing smoothly. Motta confirmed that everyone will be present for the upcoming match except for Bremer, Cabal, and Milik. Meanwhile, Dusan Vlahovic might find himself on the bench for the third consecutive game due to ongoing fitness concerns.

The Serbian international has been linked with potential transfers this month, with Chelsea and Arsenal mentioned as possible destinations. Motta commented on the situation by saying, "Randal and Nico (Gonzalez) can play on the wing. Dusan played a lot and had a physical problem. We will see for tomorrow who will start and who will enter the match."

Despite being unbeaten in Serie A so far, Juventus has drawn 13 out of 21 matches, placing them fifth in the standings and 13 points behind leaders Napoli. Motta acknowledged that Antonio Conte's Partenopei deserved their top spot but noted that his team is confident after defeating AC Milan recently.

Looking Ahead

Motta shared his mixed feelings about the season's progress: "I am satisfied with many things and others less so, such as the many draws, but I have already talked about this." He emphasized that their goal remains to perform well during training sessions to secure victories.

The coach highlighted that numerous changes within the squad were necessary for various reasons. He anticipates an exciting match between Napoli and Juventus on Saturday.
