Kyle Walker is set to rejoin Manchester City after AC Milan decided not to exercise the purchase option in his loan agreement. Walker, who moved to Milan on a short-term loan in January, was initially out of favour at Manchester City. The deal included an option for Milan to buy him for 5 million.
During his time with AC Milan, Walker played in 11 Serie A matches, starting seven of them. However, he only contributed to one clean sheet as the team struggled throughout the season. Milan finished eighth in Serie A, missing out on European competition for the first time since the 2019-20 season. This disappointing finish led to Sergio Conceicao's dismissal after just half a season.

Massimiliano Allegri has returned to manage AC Milan for a second time following Conceicao's departure. Alongside Walker, Joao Felix will also return to Chelsea after his loan spell at Milan. Felix scored two goals in 15 Serie A appearances during his time with the club.

Walker is unlikely to be part of Pep Guardiola's plans at Manchester City. Instead, clubs like Everton and Fulham are reportedly interested in signing him. Additionally, several teams from the Saudi Pro League are also considering making a move for the experienced defender.
Joao Felix is linked with a potential return to Benfica, where he began his career before moving to Atletico Madrid in a high-profile transfer worth 126 million in 2019. During his breakout season with Benfica in 2018-19, Felix scored 20 goals across all competitions but has struggled to reach double figures since then.
Walker and Felix's future moves remain uncertain as they return from their respective loan spells. Both players will be looking for new opportunities that align with their career goals and aspirations.
