Kylian Mbappe's potential move to Real Madrid has taken a major hit, according to reports.
The French footballer has been a key name associated with Real Madrid's transfer wishlist and previous moves have fallen short for the Spanish giants.

And the latest move for the French attacker is still far away from a conclusion. As reports suggest, Real Madrid won't have to pay a penny to PSG for Mbappe's signing, but they will have to pay an astronomical bonus and wages to the player.
Although a £128.5 million sign-on bonus is something Real Madrid have already agreed on, the massive wage demands are yet to be agreed. The Spanish giants belief that Mbappe wants the deal this year, but no concrete talk has taken place.
Amid this, The Independent has claimed that Mbappe is not fixed with a move to Real Madrid as a potential transfer to Liverpool and Arsenal are also being explored.
Liverpool and Arsenal are the two hottest teams in the English Premier League at the moment. Although Manchester City is a huge giant as well, but with Erling Haaland already in the team, Mbappe's chances at Man City is bleak, hence there is a possibility that the Frenchman may make a move to Liverpool or Arsenal if his Real Madrid deal collapses.
But between Arsenal and Liverpool, who are better positioned to sign Kylian Mbappe?
If we speak financially, it will be a gigantic move for both clubs. Arsenal and Liverpool don't have a huge windfall in the wage bill and fitting in Mbappe can be a complicated task.
But if either team is able to find a solution to that, who would Mbappe choose as his next club? Liverpool is an excellent team with class and history, but the departure of Jurgen Klopp can be a stumbling block in their pursuit of Mbappe. Also they have the strikers quota already pretty filled with Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo in the squad, hence we probably need a couple of departures before Mbappe's arrival at Anfield.
On the other hand, Arsenal's youthful team with a vibrant coach like Mikel Arteta can be a perfect destination for the Frenchman. With Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard, Kylian Mbappe can make the Gunners an unassailable offensive force in the world. Arsenal are also in need of a striker and none get bigger than the 25-year-old if he arrives at the North London club.
Hence Arsenal may well be the ideal club for the current PSG star to have his next chapter if the Madrid move ends without fruition.
