La Liga game week 14: Roundup and results

Bengaluru, Dec 3: La Liga game week kick-started on Saturday. December 3, and 9 out of 10 matches were played.

The headlining match of the game week featured league giants and arch rivals Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid and Luis Enrique's FC Barcelona shared the honour in the 'El Clasico.

Season's first El Clasico ended in an otherwise drab 1-1 draw as neither of the sides produced an eye-catching goal.

After a 0-0 first half, Luis Suarez broke the deadlock heading in a cross from Lionel Messi. Sergio Ramos scored a last-gasp goal to save the night for Madridistas.

Atletico Madrid failed to pick up full three points once again as they managed a 0-0 draw against Espanyol.

Real Madrid lead the charts 6 points clear of rivals and second placed FC Barcelona.
