Bengaluru, Oct 3: La Liga game week 7 was full of shocking results as both the league giants Real Madrid and FC Barcelona failed to register a win.
While Real Madrid once again settled for a draw with Eibar, FC Barcelona were stunned by Celta Vigo as they beat Luis Enrique's side 4-3. Real were held to a 1-1 draw.
Real Madrid conceded early in the match when Eibar player Fran Rico netted the first goal as early as in the 6th minute.
Gareth Bale scored the equaliser in the 17th minute to assure them at least a point from the match. Cristiano Ronaldo started for the Los Blancos but he failed to make any impact.
In the last match of the game week, FC Barcelona suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Celta Vigo. Celta took a 3-0 lead against a reckless Barcelona side at half time.
They came back strongly in the second half scoring 2 goals. But the fate of the match was sealed when Celta scored a fourth. Gerard Pique scored the consolation goal in the dying moments of the match.
Atletico Madrid were the only big team to register a win as they move to the top of the league table. Diego Simeone's men defeated Valencia 2-0.
