Lampard out for a month as Chelsea hit the limit

By Staff
London(England), Dec 28: Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard tore a muscle in his right thigh and will miss at least for a month, the club said Thursday.

Terry, who also plays for England, was injured in Wednesday's 4-4 draw against Aston Villa. He left after 26 minutes, but the injury is not to the same thigh he injured earlier this season."He will begin his rehabilitation immediately and we hope to have him back playing within a few weeks," said a statement on the club's website. Chelsea is already dealing with injuries to captain John Terry, Didier Drogba and Florent Malouda.

Chelsea is seven points behind first-place Manchester United and six behind second-place Arsenal entering Saturday's home match against Newcastle.
