Bengaluru, Sep 15: The latest FIFA rankings have been revealed by the apex football body. Lionel Messi's Argentina hold on to their number 1 position in the rankings.
Belgium too have successfully protected their second position. Germany climbs up to thrid position from fourth and Colombia goes down to fourth.

Brazil have progressed impressively as they go up by 5 position to occupy the fourth spot jointly with Colombia. They have 1323 points presently.
The latter five teams in the top 10 are Chile, Portugal, France, Uruguay and Wales respectively.
The Indian football team have made substantial progress in the ranking as they move up by 4 positions to 148th.
They had recently played an international friendly against a much higher ranked side Puerto Rico and had won 4-1. The win has certainly helped their cause.
