Latest Fifa rankings revealed: Argentina top the charts, India placed at 152nd position

Bengaluru, July 14: The latest FIFA rankings have been released today (July 14). Argentina are at the top of the table with 1585 points followed Belgium (1401 points).

Colombia, Germany and Chile hold the thrid, fourth and fifth place respectively. Euro 2016 champions Portugal climb up 2 positions to move up to 6th.

Euro 2016 runner-up France takes a huge leap as they move up by 10 positions to the 7th spot. Well they did a splendid job at the Euros which helped them to move up the ranking.

Italy breaks into the top 10 moving up by 2 places courtesy an impressive Euro show. Wales too have moved upwards to 11th position, 2 places above rivals and neighbours England.

The Icelanders who shocked the entire world with their brilliant performance in the Euro have moved up to 22nd position, up by 12 places.

India have escalated in the FIFA rankings by 12 places and are now placed at 152nd position. Last month, Stephen Constantine's men defeated Laos twice in a week's time by 1-0 and 6-1 respectively. The thumping second-leg win did a world of good for the Men in Blue.
