Germany forward Lea Schuller completes a move to Manchester United from Bayern Munich, becoming the club’s second January transfer addition after Hanna Lundkvist. Manchester United currently sit fourth in the Women’s Super League, nine points behind leaders Manchester City, and see Schuller as a key attacking option for the title race.

The 28-year-old signs a three-and-a-half-year contract that runs until June 2029, giving Manchester United long-term security in the forward line. Schuller’s comments underline belief in Marc Skinner’s project and the squad’s attacking style.
