Leeds United narrowed the gap on Championship leaders Sunderland after a decisive win against Queens Park Rangers. Daniel Farke's team secured a 2-0 victory at Elland Road, moving within two points of Sunderland. Jayden Bogle scored early, and Joel Piroe added another in stoppage time to seal the win.
Sunderland, however, couldn't maintain their lead despite goals from Wilson Isidor and Dennis Cirkin in the first half against Coventry City. Haji Wright reduced the deficit for Coventry just past the hour mark. Jack Rudoni then equalised with six minutes left, resulting in a 2-2 draw.

At the lower end of the table, Portsmouth achieved their second win of the season by defeating Preston North End 3-1 at Fratton Park. Josh Murphy and Connor Ogilvie scored in the first half, while Colby Bishop's late penalty secured victory after Emil Riis Jakobsen had pulled one back for Preston.
This victory lifted Portsmouth to 23rd place, two points above QPR and three points from safety. Meanwhile, Plymouth Argyle managed a draw against Derby County. Adam Randell's goal cancelled out Jerry Yates' early strike at Pride Park.
Norwich City experienced a setback with their first home league defeat in 22 games. Bristol City triumphed 2-0 at Carrow Road with goals from Anis Mehmeti and Nakhi Wells. This result pushed Bristol into 10th place, just two points away from play-off contention.
Plymouth's draw leaves Wayne Rooney's team in 16th position but only one point clear of relegation danger. Derby County remains comfortably placed at 12th in the standings.
