Leicester City have parted ways with manager Steve Cooper following a series of four Premier League matches without a victory. Cooper, who previously led Nottingham Forest, managed the Foxes for just 15 games across all competitions. He was appointed in June after Enzo Maresca departed to join Chelsea, following Leicester's return to the Premier League.
Despite an initial six-game winless streak at the start of the season, Cooper managed to secure wins against Bournemouth and Southampton. However, Leicester's recent struggles included losses to Nottingham Forest, Manchester United, and Chelsea, along with a draw against Ipswich Town. This poor run ultimately led to Cooper's dismissal.

In an official statement released on Sunday, Leicester City confirmed that Cooper's assistants Alan Tate and Steve Rands have also left their positions. Ben Dawson will temporarily take over managerial duties until a new manager is appointed. Graham Potter, who previously managed Brighton and Chelsea, was reportedly in discussions with Leicester before Cooper's appointment last summer.
The Foxes currently sit 16th in the Premier League standings with 10 points from 12 games. The club is now focused on finding a suitable replacement to steer them away from the relegation zone and improve their league performance.
Cooper's brief tenure at Leicester was marked by challenges and inconsistency. Despite some promising moments, including victories over Bournemouth and Southampton, the team's inability to maintain form led to his departure. The club is now looking ahead as they seek stability under new leadership.
