Ligue 1 sensation Malcom discusses 'dream' move amid exit rumours

London, March 14: Ligue 1 sensation and currently one of the most sought out players in world football, Bordeaux star Malcom has broken his silence over the ongoing speculation regarding him and claimed that is his 'dream' to play for one of Arsenal, Tottenham or Bayern Munich.

The youngster has been in great form for the Ligue 1 side this season, scoring eight goals and registering six assists in 26 appearances.

His on-field display caught the eye of top European giants and clubs like Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur etc reportedly showed interest in the player.

Last month, German powerhouse Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes also confirmed their interest in the player and stated that in the Summer his side will be in the market for the talented attacker.

"He's certainly in the focus of our scouting department, like many other players as well," Heynckes told Sport Bild. "Hasan Salihamidzic [Sporting director] has very clear ideas and is driving forward the plans for next season.

“He knows exactly who is in our sights and which players he would like to have. He has high-quality players in mind."

Regarding the transfer speculation, Malcom already earlier in last month expressed his desire to leave the club at the end of the season and claimed that his club has given him a green signal to make negotiations with other sides.

"Yes, there was a promise that I will be negotiating in June," he told Brazilian outlet UOL, as reported by the Daily Mail. "I will choose the team, and Bordeaux will let me go.

"I already said that I would have liked to leave this winter to meet new challenges. But I must also remember that Bordeaux helped me a lot.

"I gave my word to Bordeaux that I will continue [with the club] to be able to have more time to choose my future club.

"These next three or four months will make a big difference."

After his comments, there has been continuous speculation about the player leaving for England to Spurs or Arsenal and sometimes for Germany, for Bayern.

And now breaking silence over his future, the winger has suggested that he will be happy to play any of these clubs however currently he has not made any decision over his future and only concentrating on Bordeaux's season.

“On Instagram, people put me in Arsenal, Tottenham or Bayern shirts. Even if it’s my dream, it makes me laugh," he said in an interview with Sud-Ouest.

"I play for Bordeaux. At the moment, that’s all I think about."

The 20-year-old Brazilian joined the league 1 side from Brazilian club Corinthians last season and is a left-footed player who can play in the right wing as well as the central attacking midfielder.

The highly sought out player can be a significant advantage for any of the above-mentioned team, however, with all of them reportedly fighting for his signature what will be his ultimate destination on come the summer now remains to be seen.
