Rohit Sharma was already a sensation among every cricket fan. However, now with the new Adidas ad campaign, it seems he has become the face of cricket. Adidas posted their new ad campaign, 'You Got This’.

Rohit Sharma hitting the ball was one of the inspiring clips along with a clip of a free-kick shot from Lionel Messi that followed seconds later in the video. The video has taken the internet by storm as cricket fans across the world have taken notice.

The clip of the Indian captain’s shot was taken from a series prior to the 2023 ODI World Cup. While the clip of Lionel Messi’s free-kick shot was taken from his first match for Inter Miami. He came off the bench with a little over 30 minutes left in the match.

With seconds left on the clock, Miami received a free-kick which Messi converted perfectly. Before that goal, the match was on level by a 1-1 margin. That goal was Lionel Messi’s first goal for Inter Miami.

That goal didn't only win Inter Miami that match, but also started a domino effect of an unbroken record of wins till they lifted the Leagues Cup. This was the first-ever title Miami won and this goal started it all.

Argentina football team captain Lionel Messi has had a partnership with Adidas since 2006. On the other hand, Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has had a partnership with Adidas since 2013.

Currently, Rohit Sharma is leading his team in a 5-match test series against England. On the other hand, Lionel Messi is touring with Inter Miami for their pre-season friendlies before they officially begin their MLS campaign on 22nd February.
