The whole Miami is waiting for Lionel Messi to arrive and wear the shirt of Inter Miami. The Argentine chose to join the MLS club after his contract expiration at French outfit Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
With several European suitors looking for his signature, Messi will ply his trade in the USA and is tipped to make his debut soon. The MLS season in USA is different. It starts in February and ends in December, like a calendar year.

Inter Miami, who are currently at the bottom of the Eastern Conference in MLS, will be hoping for change of fortunes when the Argentine arrives at the club. They are currently with 15 points in 16 matches, and are six points away from playoff spots.
But as the Argentine's signature is now official, when shall we see Messi donning the Inter Miami shirt? That is a valid question. Being in the middle of the season, the Inter fans will be eager to see their star on the ground as soon as possible.
But after just ending a long season with PSG, Messi is not expected to make an immediate appearance at the club. The 35-year-old Argentine is tipped to make his debut in July onwards and we can pinpoint three dates which may see Messi making his debut for the MLS club-
This date is being considered as the most probable date of Messi's debut for Inter Miami. The Argentina international is tipped to play his first match on July 21 in a Leagues Cup match against Mexican side Cruz Azul.
The match will be played at the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, the home ground of Inter.
This is another probable date for Messi's debut. In this match, Inter Miami will take on fellow Florida-based club Atlanta United in the Leagues Cup. The match will be played at DRV PNK Stadium.
If Inter Miami makes it to the next round of the Leagues Cup, Messi can make his debut in between July 25 to August 20 as well. But if Inter Miami fails to qualify for the knockout rounds, then their next match after July 25 will be on 20th August, which is yet another possible debut date.
This is an improbable date but it may boil down to August 20 t the DRV PNK Stadium when Messi announces his arrival on the grass for Inter Miami. A start in August will give Messi an increased rest and fuel for the remainder of the season, but with the season potentially ending in October (if they fail to make the MLS playoffs, which looks likely), Messi may start from July only.
