Lionel Messi has made his choice to join Inter Miami. The Argentine left PSG at the end of the season and has decided to ply his trade in the MLS club from next season.
The David Beckham-owned club prised away arguably football's best-ever player from the grasp of various European clubs and other humongous giants in Saudi Arabia. And as Messi's move to Inter Miami was finalized, the ticket price and the demand for tickets have taken a massive upsurge.

Inter Miami, who are currently languishing at the bottom of the Eastern Conference of the MLS table, are witnessing a massive demand for tickets for the remainder of the season.
Fans are already in a frenzy mode as they wait to welcome Messi on American soil, and the tickets price have taken a huge jump. According to TickPick, Inter Miami's Leagues Cup opener against Mexican club Cruz Azul has seen a 1034% rise in ticket prices.
The lowest price of the match, which was around $29 (INR 2400), has taken a surge to $329 (INR 27,000). The staggering rise in ticket price is not making an impact though as fans are willing to pay the amount to watch Messi.
At the moment, all the tickets are sold out and the verified resale ticket is priced at $897 (INR 74000), whereas a sitting ticket is valued at around $1583 (INR 1.3 lakh) on Ticketmaster website. The resale value of tickets has taken a gigantic rise of 3000% so far from its original value.
Many experts believe Messi's debut for Inter Miami can be the most watched match in MLS history, whereas his continued appearance will make MLS a much more lucrative commodity to the outer world and the league within USA as well.
Inter Miami's away fixtures have also seen a huge rise in ticket prices. Their away fixture against New York Red Bulls on August 26 has seen a 1236% rise in ticket price, whereas a September 3 away fixture against Los Angeles FC has seen a 420% rise.
Messi's first match for Inter Miami is tipped to be July 21, when Inter face Cruz Azul. If he misses that match, fans may witness him in their subsequent game at home against Atlanta United on July 25.
