Lionel Messi next match, Inter Miami vs Atlanta United: Lionel Messi's next match in the USA will see him continue to compete in the Leagues Cup 2023 in the Inter Miami vs Atlanta United group stage match on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning in India). The match will start at 7:30 PM local time at the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

This is the third edition of the Leagues Cup with all clubs from Major League Soccer (MLS) and Liga MX (Mexico) competing in the mid-season tournament for the first time. Inter Miami, who made the big acquisition of Lionel Messi from Paris Saint-Germain earlier this season, already won their opening game of the group stages with a 2-1 win over Cruz Azul last Friday.

The match also saw another debut for arguably the best defensive midfield of the era in Sergio Busquets, who also came on in the second half with Lionel Messi. This was the first time the duo played together since Lionel Messi left Barcelona in the summer of 2021.

Beating Atlanta United won't be an easy task for the star-ladden Inter Miami as the club has been in better form this season and is currently placed seventh in the Eastern Conference of MLS season with 35 points in 24 games. Miami are placed at the last spot at 15 with 18 points and five wins in 22 games.
