Former Barcelona star and World Cup 2022 winner Lionel Messi is reportedly set to join MLS club Inter Miami this summer.
Messi, who has been playing for French club PSG for the last two seasons left the club at the end of the recently-concluded season.

The 35-year-old was heavily linked with a return back to Barcelona. There were also speculations of him making a move to Saudi Arabia as several clubs in the middle-east country were interested in him.
But Spanish journalist Guillem Balague claims the Argentine has decided to move to Inter Miami in the summer. The MLS club was among the names interested in the former La Masia prospect and USA will be the next destination for the Argentina captain.
English outlet BBC also confirms the Argentine rejected a much more lucrative offer from Saudi club Al-Hilal. It is also reported Messi turned down a 1 billion euro per year contract to join the MLS side. The Argentine is expected to play for the Florida outfit from August, which is kind of a mid-season in USA football season.
