Liverpool not good enough, says Danish defender

By Super Admin

London, Dec. 22 (ANI): Having suffered seven Premier League defeats in the 2009-10 season, Liverpool coach Rafa Benitez may finally have to accept that the playing style of the club is not good enough.

Danish defender Daniel Agger is the latest to pitch this view, and believes Liverpool will struggle to even make Europe at all, beyond a pre-season tour.

The Sun quoted Agger as saying: "It goes without saying that we are extremely disappointed. We know it simply isn't good enough for this club. We have got to change this around. It didn't happen against Portsmouth but can't let it go on any further. We have got to try and find a balance."

He added: "Why is this happening? It's a bit of everything - form, confidence and injuries I suppose, but we have got to try and get some confidence from somewhere soon. You get that by winning games but, for one reason or another, we are not doing that at the moment." (ANI)
