London, July 9 (ANI): Liverpool FC skipper Steven Ggerrard has agreed to continue with the club till 2013 for a contract fee of 26 million pounds.
According to The Sun, Gerrard has insisted this will be his last deal and is seriously considering quitting at 33. "I"ll be 33 at the end of my contract and it"s doubtful whether I"ll carry on. If I decide to stop, I will be proud of the fact I"ve spent my entire career with the same club," The Sun quoted Gerrard, as saying.
The Anfield skipper has insisted on his conviction of having a Premier League winners" medal by then.
"I thought about leaving Liverpool twice, especially in 2005 when Chelsea was a temptation. I"m glad I never did. If we don"t win the title this year, it"ll be the next, or the year after and that will be the greatest moment of my career," he added. (ANI)
