Paris Saint-Germain's manager, Luis Enrique, is determined to maintain focus as his team prepares to face Lyon on Sunday. PSG have been in exceptional form, having defeated Brest 10-0 on aggregate in the Champions League. They are also leading Ligue 1 by 10 points. The team remains unbeaten in their 22 Ligue 1 matches this season, with 17 wins and five draws.
This impressive run marks the second-longest unbeaten start to a season in the top-flight during the 21st century, only behind PSG's own record of 27 games in the 2015-16 season. Meanwhile, Lyon sits sixth in the league, trailing by 20 points. However, they have shown resilience at home, remaining unbeaten in their last seven Ligue 1 home games with five wins and two draws.

Lyon's recent success can be attributed to Paulo Fonseca, who took charge in January and has made a strong impact. Despite their current standing, Enrique acknowledges Lyon's strengths and expects a challenging match. "Of course, it will be difficult," he stated. "They recently changed their coach, so they are still working on their connections."
Enrique further noted that playing away is always challenging and praised Lyon for their ability to adapt their playstyle effectively. He emphasized that Lyon is one of the best teams both domestically and in Europe. "We need to be at a very high level to play well and win," Enrique added.
Enrique also discussed Bradley Barcola's development. The young forward has scored 16 goals across all competitions this season. "Bradley was very good for us in the second half of last season and he has a very promising future," Enrique said about Barcola, who joined PSG from Lyon in 2023.
The manager stressed that despite Barcola's talent, he is still young and has room for growth. "My goal is for him to continue progressing, just like all the other players in our squad," Enrique concluded.
