James Maddison will not play again this season due to a knee injury, confirmed by Tottenham's manager, Ange Postecoglou. The midfielder was injured during the first leg of Spurs' Europa League semi-final against Bodo/Glimt, where he scored in their 3-1 win. Maddison has been crucial for Tottenham this season, matching Son Heung-min and Dominic Solanke with 22 goal involvements.

The absence of Maddison is a significant setback for Postecoglou, who is also missing Lucas Bergvall because of an ankle injury.
