Noni Madueke praised Trevoh Chalobah's performance against Wolves, calling it "unbelievable." Chalobah returned to Chelsea from a loan at Crystal Palace to cover injuries to Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile. He was immediately included in Enzo Maresca's lineup for Chelsea's 3-1 victory over Wolves in the Premier League. Chalobah impressed with his defensive skills and contributed significantly to the win.

Chalobah excelled defensively, making more interceptions and winning more aerial duels than any other Chelsea player during the match. He also created two chances, the most by any player on his team. Madueke described it as an instinctive move, acknowledging he apologised to Chalobah for taking what could have been his goal. "I had to put this in the net for sure," Madueke explained about his decisive action.
