Social media is a funny place. Here you will witness the strangest of things happen and sometimes the funniest too.
When it comes to footballers, and especially the renowned ones, social media is a breeding ground for them to showcase their life or share both their professional and personal achievements and feelings. And courtesy of the footballers, their family members also garner a lot of popularity in social media.

England footballer Phil Foden is one of them. The Manchester City attacker is a fantastic player and just completed a treble-winning season with the Cityzens. On Instagram, Foden has around 8.5 million followers at the time of writing this copy (June 26).
But the 22-year-old player's son is making ground and may surpass him in coming years in terms of social media popularity. Phil's four-year-old son Ronnie made his digital debut in style on Sunday (June 25).
Ronnie came to prominence after being part of Manchester City's treble-winning celebration. He was one of the focal points of the celebrations and the supporters as well as the football fans in general enjoyed the adorable kid for his pure emotions and swag.
And as fans wanted to see more of Foden junior, his parents took the decision to give their son a social media platform. Ronnie also got the nickname 'El Wey or 'The Dude' among the Man City supporters.

The father-son duo were captured after City's Champions League victory against Inter Milan in Istanbul earlier this month, and Ronnie's debut on Instagram marked with a picture with his father and a caption which wrote 'El wey has arrived' following a GOAT emoji which signifies Greatest Of All Time.
And since uploading the picture, the younger Foden has racked up over a million followers. The little swagger already has 1.1 million people following him on Instagram and it is only supposed to grow in coming days.
The account also uploaded stories which showed the kid dancing during the ongoing holidays and a few adorable pictures with his mom and dad.
Another picture was uploaded where little Ronnie was pictured with his dad Phil and Man City legend Sergio Aguero. "El Wey with a couple of fans", a follower wrote.
