Manchester United are reportedly losing out to another player in the January Transfer Window, as the Red Devils search for an attacker on the deadline day.

Man United let go of Marcus Rashford after his continuous snub from action. Rashford has joined Aston Villa on loan for the remainder of the season, leaving a void in the team.

Although Ruben Amorim has managed to land Lecce defender Patrick Dorgu and Arsenal's young defender Ayden Heaven, the Red Devils are struggling to sort out their attacking option.

And as per latest report, they are set to face defeat in another transfer prospect in Mathys Tel. Bayern Munich outcast Tel has been poised to leave the club in the transfer window.

Man United misses out on Mathys Tel

Tel, who idolizes Cristiano Ronaldo, was poised to join Manchester United. The Premier League giants were also interested in him as manager Amorim wanted to bring him at the club. But Man United have failed to complete a loan move for Tel, who has now reportedly set his sights for Tottenham Hotspur.

As per Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tel is currently flying to London to complete a loan move at Spurs. The Frenchman initially rejected an offer from Spurs but is now set to join the North London club on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 19-year-old has been out of favour at Bayern this season, with just 14 appearances so far. Also, he is yet to find a goal this season. Tel scored 10 goals last season but has gone down in the pecking order significantly. As the teenage sensation looks to revive his career in the Premier League, Man United were a serious option but Tottenham have come out to snoop at the very last moment.
