Man United join Arsenal and Liverpool for Premier League Star - Who Will Win the Race?

By MyKhel Staff

Manchester United have joined the race with Arsenal and Liverpool for Antoine Semenyo, as per reports.

Antoine Semenyo's rise from the lower tiers of English football to Premier League prominence has reportedly caught the eye of Manchester United, Arsenal, and Liverpool, with the trio now said to be monitoring the Bournemouth forward closely.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a stellar campaign, building on last season's promise to become one of the most explosive attackers in the league. Semenyo currently stands as Bournemouth's joint-top scorer for non-penalty goals and boasts an eye-catching average of 3.8 shots per game - a rate that outstrips even Erling Haaland, Cole Palmer, and Mohamed Salah.

His consistent threat in front of goal and ability to operate off either foot have made him a desirable prospect, with the Independent reporting that United are the latest to join a growing list of Premier League suitors. Arsenal and Liverpool, meanwhile, have held long-standing interest in the London-born Ghana international.

The Gunners could have an emotional edge in this race - Semenyo has openly admitted his lifelong support for Arsenal.

Speaking to The Athletic, he said: "I am an Arsenal fan... It is great to play against Arsenal, a team I have watched all my life and I want to play for the top clubs as well." That personal connection could prove decisive, especially if Arsenal intensify their pursuit.

However, despite his electric form - which includes goals against both Manchester clubs, Semenyo isn't believed to be the top target for any of the interested parties. Arsenal and Man United are currently prioritizing a move for Athletic Club's Nico Williams, who has a more extensive resume at the top level and comes with a £50 million price tag - albeit with hefty wage demands north of £200,000 per week. Liverpool, for their part, are not actively seeking attacking reinforcements unless Salah departs this summer.

Who are Favourites to sign Antoine Semenyo?

While Manchester United and Liverpool could yet step up their interest depending on how the transfer window unfolds, Arsenal appear to have the edge - both emotionally and structurally. Their need for versatile forward depth, coupled with Semenyo's own allegiance to the club, could make the Emirates his most likely destination if a formal move materializes.
