It may not be a pleasant hearing for Manchester United fans, but their legend Wayne Rooney has made a shocking admission recently.
Wayne Rooney, who is Manchester United's record scorer with 253 goals in 559 appearances for the Red Devils, has said that he will be happy to join Manchester City as Pep Guardiola's assistant if the offer arrives.

The former England man was linked with a move to Man City in 2010 after handing a transfer request, but eventually patched up his differences with then manager Sir Alex Ferguson and stayed at the Red Half of Manchester for another seven years.
But his managerial job hasn't had a blockbuster start. Rooney left MLS club DC United for Birmingham, but could only last 15 matches at the Championship club before getting the sack. And less than two months after the departure, Rooney admits he would love to be the assistant of Pep Guardiola at Man City.
"It depends (on whether I'd ever be an assistant) - if Pep Guardiola comes in and asks me to be his assistant, you'd walk there," Rooney said to the Stick to Football podcast.
"You see what (Mikel) Arteta is doing now (at Arsenal) and I strongly believe a lot of that is from learning what Guardiola was doing, and so it depends on what the situation is.
"For me, the best manager is Pep and you look at how he adapts - how they (City) are playing now is not the same as how they were playing four years ago. He keeps making these subtle changes and then you see everyone else trying to do the same. They also work harder than anyone else," he added.
His old team Manchester United are currently 12 points behind Man City and the ex-England player is frustrated to see the Red Devils struggling under Erik Ten Hag.
"There's talent in there. But I just think there's a mindset that needs to change. You watch some games and I think, 'Really good'. But then all of a sudden it's like a switch that's been flicked. They can go from being really good to really bad. There's a lack of consistency," he said.
Rooney has been linked to a possible switch to boxing, while he also revealed of joining Law school and becoming a Lawyer. The former player revealed that he filled up a form at the Nottingham University to study criminal law during his tenure at Birmingham.
