Manchester United Hit By Injuries To New Signings Yoro And Hojlund

Manchester United's Leny Yoro is out for three months while Rasmus Hojlund will miss six weeks due to injuries. This comes as a significant blow to the team's preparations for the upcoming Premier League season.

Manchester United's recent signing, Leny Yoro, has been sidelined for three months due to a foot injury. Yoro, who joined from Lille in a £52.2 million deal, impressed during his pre-season debut against Rangers. Unfortunately, he was injured during the first half of United's 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in Los Angeles and was later seen with a protective boot and crutches.

Rasmus Hojlund also suffered an injury in the same match against Arsenal. Despite scoring in the game, he sustained a hamstring injury shortly after, cutting his game short. He is expected to be out for six weeks, missing action until after the September international break.

Man Utd's Injury Blow to Yoro, Hojlund

Erik ten Hag's squad faced further injury issues during their 3-2 friendly win against Real Betis in San Diego. Marcus Rashford limped off in the second half due to a right ankle injury following a heavy tackle. Additionally, Antony had to leave the field after just 23 minutes due to a hand problem. Both injuries were later described as precautionary measures.

Yoro will undergo additional tests upon returning to the UK with the rest of the team. His absence means he will miss the first three months of the Premier League season, which is a significant blow for Manchester United.

Hojlund's hamstring injury adds to Ten Hag's growing list of concerns. The forward will be unavailable until mid-September, impacting United's attacking options early in the season.

The injuries to Rashford and Antony are less severe but still concerning for Ten Hag as he prepares for the upcoming season. Rashford's ankle issue and Antony's hand problem are being monitored closely by the medical team.

Manchester United fans will be hoping for quick recoveries for all injured players as they look forward to a competitive season ahead. The team's depth will be tested early on with these key players sidelined.

The club will need to rely on other squad members to step up during this challenging period. Ensuring that injured players receive proper care and rehabilitation will be crucial for their return to full fitness.

The Red Devils' pre-season preparations have been marred by these injuries, but they remain focused on starting the Premier League campaign strongly despite these setbacks.

The medical staff at Manchester United will play a vital role in managing these injuries and ensuring that players return stronger and fitter. Fans eagerly await updates on their favourite stars' recovery progress.

As Manchester United navigates through these challenges, maintaining team morale and performance levels will be essential. The upcoming matches will test their resilience and adaptability without some key players available.

The club's management is likely exploring options to bolster the squad depth further as they aim for success in various competitions this season.
