London, August 11: Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri is said to be edging closer to move to Turkish Super Lig side Antalyaspor.
The 30-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements after new boss Pep Guardiola's arrival last season and was sent on a season long loan to Spain with Sevilla. The France international registered three assists and three goals in 31 appearances for Sevilla last season.
He joined City's pre-season tour this season to the United States but despite having played he now seems to be not in the plans of City boss again.
It now looks certain that Nasri will be proceeding to his next destination before the August 31 deadline date, and currently he is set to weigh up his offers which include clubs from all over Europe.
And now as per a report from French outlet La Parisen, Turkish club Antalyaspor have reportedly made a move for the attacker and want to sign Nasri on a season long loan.
However, the 30-year-old's gigantic wage demands as high as £170,000 a week has made it hard to seal the deal but to smoothen the move City have reportedly want to release him from his contract, which still has two years to rundown.
Nasri is reportedly valued at £17million by City and the Manchester club want to sell the player permanently and do not want another loan deal.
Should Nasri make a move to the Süper Lig side, who completed fifth last season, he'd collaborate with another Frenchman Jérémy Ménez and popular Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o.
Nasri has been with City since 2011 and played a key role in the side that won the Premier League in the 2011-12 and 2013-14 seasons.
