Manchester City face PSG and Juventus away from home as well as Inter Milan at the Etihad in their most eye-catching matches.

Manchester City is lined up to face their 2023 UCL final opponent Inter Milan in their UCL 2024 league phase opening fixture. Inter will be making their first visit to the Etihad for the reunion. Also, The Blues will be facing Paris Saint-Germain in their second fixture.

They will next take on Club Brugge, Juventus, Feyenoord, Sporting CP, Sparta Praha and Slovan Bratislava. Though The Blues have played against six teams, they haven't competed against Czech side Sparta Prague or Slovakian team Slovan Bratislava in any European competition so far.

The 2024-25 Champions League season introduces a groundbreaking new format, replacing the traditional group stage with a league phase. This expanded phase features 36 teams, up from the previous 32.

In this new format, each team will face eight different opponents, playing four matches at home and four away. This change ensures a wider variety of matchups and more dynamic competition.

The top eight teams from the league phase will directly advance to the round of 16. Teams finishing between ninth and 24th place will enter a knockout playoff stage to compete for the remaining eight spots in the round of 16. The bottom 12 teams will be eliminated from the tournament.

Fixture dates and times for each team will be announced on Saturday, and the final is scheduled to take place at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Saturday, May 31.
