After facing a heart-aching defeat against Real Madrid in the Quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League, Manchester City will come to Wembley to fight Chelsea to defend their title in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday (April 20).
Man City have become the first team in the history of the FA Cup to reach the semifinals in six successive seasons though they have only progressed from two of them while Chelsea lost three finals back to back from 2020-2022. The last time the two clubs met each other in the FA Cup was at the Round-3 in the last season, and Chelsea got eliminated by suffering a humiliating defeat by a 4-0 margin.

After suffering an extra-time defeat to Liverpool in the EFL Cup final in February, Chelsea could reach both the domestic cup finals in the same season for a third time, having won both in 2006-07 and lost both in 2021-22.
Though Chelsea have failed to remain consistent throughout the season, have gone unbeaten against Man City as both of their clashes ended up in a draw.
