Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho's Instagram Activity About Cristiano Ronaldo May Stir Tensions

Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has found himself at the centre of controversy after liking an Instagram post referencing Cristiano Ronaldo’s criticism of United manager Erik ten Hag.

The controversy began after Ronaldo’s recent interview with Rio Ferdinand on his newly launched YouTube channel, 'UR Cristiano.'

During the discussion, the Portuguese star aimed a dig at Ten Hag, with whom he had a well-documented falling out during his second spell at Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo criticized Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, stating that a club like United should always aim to compete for titles like the Premier League and Champions League, even if they lack the potential to win.

He also suggested that Ten Hag should seek advice from former United legends such as his assistant Ruud van Nistelrooy or legends like Roy Keane, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, etc to help rebuild the club.

Fabrizio Romano, a prominent football journalist, re-shared Ronaldo’s comments on Instagram, and Garnacho briefly liked the post before unliking it. Despite the brief interaction, many fans were quick to notice Garnacho's activity, raising questions about the player's stance toward his current manager.

This isn’t the first time the 20-year-old has had a public disagreement with Ten Hag. Last season, Garnacho liked social media posts criticising the manager after he was substituted in a match against Bournemouth.

While Garnacho later apologised for the incident, the current situation has reignited concerns about the relationship between the young Argentine and the Dutch manager.

The Argentina international, who has been a key figure for United this season with appearances in all three Premier League matches, may now need to act carefully as the relationship between him and Ten Hag comes under the spotlight once again.
