Manchester United's Noussair Mazraoui has been sidelined for a few weeks following a heart procedure necessitated by palpitations.
The intervention, considered minor, was carried out after the defender encountered issues during a match. The right-back, who transitioned to Manchester United from Bayern Munich for a fee of £12.8m, was substituted at the interval during a stalemate against Aston Villa.

Although it is a heart procedure, Mazraoui is expected to be back in action in a few weeks. His procedure was likely a cardiac ablation, which often treats irregular heartbeats.
However, the absence of a Moroccan full-back further compounds the defensive challenges faced by Manchester United. This list of unavailable defenders includes Harry Maguire, who also exited the game against Aston Villa due to a muscle injury. Furthermore, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw, and Tyrell Malacia are currently out of action due to long-term injuries. Adding to the injury woes, Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, and Amad Diallo had to withdraw from their international duties during the October break.
Mazraoui has so far played 10 matches for the Red Devils since joining from the German giants. The 26-year-old has only tasted victory thrice in his stint at the English club so far. Although his issue is minor, the Morocco international can miss up to ten weeks of action. At the moment, the latest reports are saying that the player may only return to the field after around 2 months.
