Jones has been banned for two European matches and fined 5,000 euros ($5,873) for insulting and using abusive language towards the Doping Control Officer and a lack of support towards the doping control methodology.

"The player Philip Jones has been charged for insulting and directing abusive language towards the Doping Control, as well as for a lack of cooperation and respect towards the doping control procedure."
The defender reportedly vented his frustration towards the official and this eventually caused the said issue.
While, Blind's fine comes after he was hesitant to report to the demand of a medical test, as he wanted to celebrate with his colleagues.
After the charge, Manchester United have not remarked on the issue yet, neither have they commented on whether they will appeal against the charges or not.
However, this ban implies that defender Jones will now miss the Uefa Super Cup against Real Madrid next week and also United's first Champions League league match in September.
Already without defender Eric Bailly who is also facing the same charge of a two match ban, experienced Chris Smalling and new defender Victor Lindelof are the main two available first-team centre-backs to be a part in the club's first two UEFA fixtures.
