Another injury blow has struck Manchester United as the Premier League giants are set to lose two key players for some time.
Manchester United's formidable duo Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund are set for a period on the sidelines, following their withdrawal from Denmark's squad for the forthcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers.

The withdrawal comes in the wake of injuries they sustained, casting a shadow over United's 1-0 triumph over Luton before the international break. They both limped off the pitch at Old Trafford last week following injuries and it seems those are severe enough to miss the international matches.
The Danish pair join a lengthy injury list containing Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Jonny Evans and Casemiro. Aaron Wan Bissaka also missed the win over Luton due to illness.
Christian Eriksen has notably suffered a knee injury and the Red Devils have accepted that the midfielder will be out of action till mid-December. His absence marks a major setback for the team, given his ability to control the game from the midfield and his knack for scoring crucial goals.
Rasmus Hojlund's muscle strain seems to be less severe. The new signing is likely to miss the trip to Everton and his absence would be a significant loss in such an important match. But United are hopeful of Hojlund's recovery and are optimistic that he will be fit in time for the crucial trip to Galatasaray for the Champions League match, slated to take place merely three days after the Everton clash.
