Manchester United offering flop duo to Saudi Clubs - Al Nassr or Al Hilal move on the way?

Manchester United is poised to part ways with two of their high-profile players as they aim to recuperate substantial fees that will bolster their budget for future acquisitions.

According to reports, they are planning to offer Brazilian winger Antony and English forward Jadon Sancho in the summer.

Manchester United

The Evening Standard reports that the Red Devils have initiated contact with teams in Saudi Arabia, seeking potential suitors for their wingers. The allure of the Saudi clubs stems from their recent hefty investments in European football stars, although their spending is expected to be more conservative in the ongoing January transfer window.

United remains optimistic about securing a whopping £50 million for each player by the summer.

Manchester United's ambitious financial outlay of £155 million to secure the services of these wingers hasn't yielded the anticipated returns. Jadon Sancho, after a fallout with manager Erik ten Hag over training effort critiques, found himself excluded from the squad.

His subsequent loan to Borussia Dortmund marks an attempt to rejuvenate his form and increase his market value. Antony, on the other hand, has struggled to make a significant impact on the pitch and has no goals or assists in his last 22 appearances.

As Sancho seeks to rediscover his form in the Bundesliga, Manchester United are banking on his performance to drive up his demand and potentially secure a lucrative summer deal. Simultaneously, in case of Antony, Man United will be hoping the Brazilian finds some form in the remainder of the season so that his price goes up in the summer.

Al Nassr or Al Hilal interested in Man United Duo?

Teams like Al Nassr and Al Hilal have spent a fortune in the summer to bolster and completely revamp their squad with some marquee additions. Reports close to Saudi Arabia suggest the powerhouses of Saudi football are monitoring things but won't leap into making a bid for either of the Man United outcasts. A move in the summer can't be denied, but Man United may have to lower their asking price to get a deal done.
